I'm rebuilding the ipf suite of stuff. The home page of ipf
has a blurb about using ipf as a module when possible is
preferable. So:

1) If I build it as a lkm, do I have to rebuild the kernel
without IPFILTER or anything? IE, could there be a conflict
if ipf is in the kernel, as well as a module?

2) I understand the general advantages of a module as
opposed to being in the kernel ``for real.'' Are there any
specific reasons why lkm is better? especially since the
module would be ``always on?''
