Hello

I installed NetBSD 1.4 today in my machine with a 3C905B.
No problems yet.

Then i replaced such card with a 3C980 and the following
ifconfig.ex0:

10.10.111.69 netmask 0xffffffc0 media auto

then i rebooted the machine and got the following message
in the /etc/netstart part of booting

configuring network interfaces: ex0panic: exphy_service: can't isolate 3Com PHY
Stopped in ifconfig at _Debugger+0x4: leave
db>

I have changed the media for 100baseTX, 100baseTX-FDX in ifconfig.ex0 but
it results the same.

This is the file /var/log/messages
