Is this a typo or did it really use irq14 for both channels ?
Sounds strange ...  I'd like to have the complete part concerning
pciide :)

Here's the strange thing: you enable the sound card at irq 11, but it uses
irq 5 and 10. Did you try which interface (sb or wss) works ?
Recompiling a kernel with the proper config may help.
