Well, 1.4 installed ok on my lapdog (Gateway Solo 9100LS), but it panic'd:

BTW, sysinst *MUST* show you current partition info. when you're editting
partition values.  Having a blank screen when I was entering start/offset
or size in megabytes when I've no idea what other partitions are was not
fun (switching back and forth half a dozen times, basically!)
