My laptop (380Z) used to work great.  Now it works almost great.  If I leave
it alone for 2 or 3 minutes, it sleeps - but not just normal "wake up if I
hit a key", all the way down.  If I leave it alone for a couple of hours, the
X display becomes corrupted.

This didn't happen a while back.

Anything likely to have changed?
