Now here we have a couple of problems ..
1) The emulators/compat13 pkg doesn't appear to be available .. and
2) Even if it is, it apparently needs a specially compiled kernel.

Is it possible for the GENERIC kernel (for all platforms) to include 1.3.3
compatibility? Otherwise, an awful lot of us who don't have the facilities
for kernel rebuilds are going to be in big trouble.

Of course the longer term solution is to acquire 1.4 versions of packages
like 'x3270' .. not yet available .. or to recompile the sources of things
like 'xlockmore' (doesn't work - syntax errors found in
/usr/include/sys/signal.h ..).                                          G.
