I'm not sure if this is the right place to report it - perhaps someone
can pass it on if necessary.

1) 'sysinst' still doesn't recognise or use a UTP cable plugged into
   and SMC8216C card.
2) 'sysinst' doesn't like ordinary user-numbers (e.g. 'c714553') for FTP;
   tries to use 'anonymous'.
3) 'startx clientargs' doesn't work.
