Subject: 1.4_ALPHA boot disk can't mount cdrom

When I tried to mount cdrom(ATAPI), it just printed such message:
pciide0:1:0: piomode error (0x4)
cd0(pciide0:1:0): ATA command aborted
:
mount_cd9660: : Input/output error

How to fix this?
Or I must install 1.4_ALPHA from DOS partition. :(
