I installed the recently pkgsrced GPG on a 1.3.3 i386 system.
(The pkg did not work properly, and I ended up doing a manual
install)

gpg --gen-key
as a normal user works as expected.

as root, it produces the following (repeatable, typed manually)

panic: ptdi 7bdf003

Don't know if this is exclusive to i386+1.3.3
I'm unfortunately going to be away from the machine for a
week. So I won't be able to test any suggestions til then.

I suggest someone try gpg --gen-key as root against -current
at least. (If you have a machine you can risk crashing)
