Do you mean not creating them, or not supporting them?  There are definitely
people who still need them (like, for instance, me), but I am perfectly happy
to create them myself if need be -- but I definitely need sysinst to be able
to cope with them somehow.

The complexity and fragility of sysinst's handling of split sets could be
reduced slightly for sophisticated users if the "what media is the installation
on" window had an escape-to-shell menu item so that one could duck out, pull
in all the floppies, and then continue with a "local tar files" install.
