XF86 is now happily using my mouse (protocol "wsmouse"), and mostly-happily
using my keyboard.

When I exit X, I have a display full of checkerboard-pattern inverse video
squares; actually, it looks like two black ones and a white one, repeating.

Also, about one keyboard action in three gets eaten before X gets it.  Am
I missing something obvious?  This is the XF86_SVGA from the 0315 snapshot.
