So are there any players that one can build from sources for streaming
mp3 audio?  I tried using mpg123 on a local radio station's mp3 stream
and it complained that the source was using a "free format".  

	# mpg123 http://netcast.kfjc.org:27080/
	...
	Directory: http://netcast.kfjc.org:27080/
	Playing MPEG stream from  ...
	Junk at the beginning
	Free format not supported.

	[0:00] Decoding of  finished.

It appears to be a disagreement over the sample rate not being
explicitly set in the header.
