(This message is posted to i386 but (1) concern some current MI stuff)

Hi !

I have a Netbsd i386 box with two network interface (3c509 combo). One (ep0)
is my internal network (192.168.0.xxx), the other (ep1) is connected to a
cable modem for Internet. My ISP run DHCP, so if I want to connect, I should
run "dhclient ep1". Some problems :

-1-If the dhclient failed for some reasons, there is an old file
'/etc/resolv.conf', created by the previous run of dhclient. If this bad
file is present, I couldn't access to the machine (this box has no screen, I
log in via telnet).

-2- I want ep1 be my default route. By default, I think it's the case, but
after getting an address, I could not access my internal network.

-3- More questions about IPNAT configuration (never worked for me), but I
prefer to progress step by step. Basically, I have a WinNT box and I want my
NetBSD-i386 to be a gateway/firewall (maybe proxy ;-), whitout limitations
(you know, some games use some non-standard port number in UDP/TCP). Any
help ?

Thanks
