I don't know if there is anything wrong with having an offset of 0 in
general.  It is quite possible that the problems Jukka and I
experienced were caused by the offset value in the disklabel ending up
*different* from the one in the MBR after rounding, and that one of
these offsets being 0 was merely coincidental.
