It has come to my attention (*grin*) that this could easily be
misunderstood as a recommendation _not_ to do as I have done.  That
was not the intention: what I meant was that my method was a way of
preventing having to deal such a situation as the one Gunnar is in.

I guess I should have said "here's how not to have to deal with it".
