The letter in the -current version designation is AFAIK bumped
each time a major internal interface change is introduced.  As
for the changes between the two versions, well, hmm, see e.g.
doc/CHANGES for the major changes, and see source-changes for the
complete overview.

Well, the reason I've not included a domestic build, is that the
build is done from sources copied down to a local machine, and as
far as I know I can't legally copy the sources to my machine, and
thus I can't compile the domestic part.
