It is the BIOS giving you that message. Something is wrong with the
boot blocks.

Someone else will probably chime in with details, but you're probably
going to have to re-initialize your MBR with fdisk and re-install your 
boot blocks with installboot. I don't know what went wrong for you,
btw.
