Right :-) Yes I am using the VPC #1 Kernel from Melbourne Australia.  I 
followed the directions exactly as they are layed out on the web page.  I 
e-mailed David Hornsby about 5 days ago, I know he's busy so hopefully 
he'll have some input shortly.


Would it be helpful to do a full re-install?  probably not right, isn't 
the kernel just copied over during the installation process?  If the 
ethernet is not being found now a re-install wouldn't find it either 
right...or am I wrong?
