On my laptop, nothing shows up on my isapnp bus, so the sound chip gets
probed as an isa "sb," which works fine, although it only supports 8-bit
samples. At least on the i386, there isn't an isa "ess," just isapnp.
(Strangely, dev/isa/files.isa does have an isa attachment for ess, but
it references the non-existent dev/isa/ess_isa.c).

Anyways, someone sent me some patches that add legacy ISA ESS support,
which seem to be working well :) (for playback, at least)
