I have a Compaq 5670 with an ESS audio chip, which I am pretty
convinced is on the motherboard. It probes like this under NetBSD
1.3H:

ESS Technology Inc product 0x1968 (audio multimedia) at pci0 dev 6 function 0 not configured

Any chance of getting it to work under NetBSD?
