Sorry, I couldn't resist. :-)

I just wanted to make the point that FreeBSD/alpha works just fine and
it's a bit outdated to refer to FreeBSD as a single architecture OS.
The 4 assorted FreeBSD/alpha machines I have here, at least, are quite
stable despite getting beaten up fairly regularly.  With all due
credit to NetBSD for providing the reference port, of course.
