tron@colwyn:~>uname -a
NetBSD colwyn.owl.de 1.3.2 NetBSD 1.3.2 (COLWYN) #0: Thu Aug  6 20:39:20 MEST 1998     tron@colwyn.owl.de:/src/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/COLWYN i386
tron@colwyn:~>/emul/linux/usr/bin/ldd /emul/linux/bin/ls
        libc.so.5 => /lib/libc.so.5.4.23

tron@lyssa:~>uname -a
NetBSD lyssa.owl.de 1.3H NetBSD 1.3H (LYSSA) #1: Wed Oct 21 00:13:39 MEST 1998     tron@lyssa.owl.de:/src/sys/compile/LYSSA i386
tron@lyssa:~>/emul/linux/usr/bin/ldd /emul/linux/bin/ls
Bad system call

And I use exactly the same Linux binaries and libraries on both systems.
