The above options are not documented anywhere (at least I didn't find them).

Are there similar settings you have to do for an IBM ThinkPad 770 ?
Mine doesn't find any cards in the pcmcia slots (but probes pcic0 fine)
most of the time. Sometimes it continues "pcic0: controller has slots A and B")
and then even finds the cards in it.
