Hi,

many (newer, it seems) PCs clear all memory
when booting.

Presumably this is for random DOS
bug compatibility or something.

Obviously, this makes dmesg a bit less fun.

Anyone know if there might be a way
to tell the BIOS or trick it into not
clearing memory? (Assuming no 'don\'t
do that' option in the BIOS setup
configuration, which most lack.)
