I'm trying to debug some hangs (file system locking problems, and/or
disk/controller problems).

I used to be able to force a crash dump by dropping into ddb and typing
db> call cpu_reboot(0x100)
but all this does is reset the machine now (no dump!).

Help? I can't debug this thing in ddb, my sources are on the same
machine! I just want a crash dump to examine.
