Hi, all.

I'm curious to see if anyone has successfully run Quake II under NetBSD
with SVGAlib? I'd very much like to do this, and I'd be slavishly grateful
given a few pointers. If I remember correctly, last time I tried this I
got error messages... um... saying something like "unable to do something or
other to something-cons." This is obviously not exact, but I'd be happy
to reproduce the conditions if it would help.

Later...

PS: If it's possible to do what I want to do, then I'll happily contribute
a little utility to automate switching between xdm and text mode... I haven't
written it yet, but I expect that it's something I'll want, so it's quite
likely to get written this weekend if I find myself playing Quake II with
SVGAlib. <grin> Heh.
