You can try a DEC 21041 based board (there is a lot of manufacturers building
boards with this chip) or a TI ThunderLAN based board (the only one I've seen
are the compaq netelligent).  Both give me good performances ... Much better
than what we can get with 3com boards in PIO mode :)
