Unfortunately, they don't really fit the "low cost" part of the
specification. As I recall, we spent somewhere between $700 and
$800 for each 4-port card. That's much more per port than the $29.95
each we spent for a stack of NetGear FA-310TXes, which use the same
chip (of course, you can't get 16 of those into a single chassis).
