On 28-May-98 Jukka Marin spoke unto us all:
# P.S. Is there any hope of getting NFS fixed any time soon? Whenever a
# server is rebooted, almost all clients must be rebooted as well.
# It's unbelievable how bad the problem is in my network...

I've noticed this problem from time to time myself. It seems to just be raw
luck. Sometimes everything comes back.. sometimes I lose a few clients.
Sometimes the volume of the NFS requests blow up the server when it comes up,
and mountd gets toasted. It is highly annoying.. I'm not sure if this is a
feature of NFS or not.. I've seen it in other OS's as well.
