A probably cheaper and less space consuming sollution is to buy an external
ISDN modem. The better ones support on the fly conversion from e.g. asynchron
PPP to SyncPPP over HDLC. The disadvantage is the high interrupt load caused
by the serial interface. How good that we have mycroft's new com driver.
