Did anything change since 1991 (or so) when Dave Haynie wrote that It
Just Can't Be Done? Remember, the Amiga may be using the same MFM
encoding of bits, but the order the bits in is radically different.  On
Amiga disks first all even bits are MFM-encoded, then the odd bits (or
vv). To mention just one difference. Unless these days pc floppy
controllers finally allow reading and writing of full un-decoded tracks,
(and why should they - it's not needed by m$windows) It Just Can't Be
Done. AFAIK.
