[I asked the 1st question a while back and got no answers, and since
 it's bit me again, I thought I'd re-ask...]

I recently lost the boot disk in my NetBSD machine, and to get myself
back to running state made a 1.3B (which is what the source on the
another machine I have was...) boot disk.

I came across several problems:
	(1) neither the machine that died nor the other machine see
the floppy drives (but both boot fine off flopyy, and
the formerly dead-machine sees the floppy fine in Win95)

	(2) after the machine died (and while I wait for a replacement
hard-drive I bought an internal ATAPI ZIP drive for future
emergency-boot situations).... When I boot off the 1.3B
boot floppy I get a message something like after the drive
is ID'd (it happens whether there is a zip disk in it or
 	    not...)

drive returned 65535/512 of identify data
		panic: no such d_type

(this is from memory, because I'm using this machine to
send out email, so I can't reboot...)

Does either of these problems strike people as even vaguely familiar?

Thanks!
