I'd like to see a more stable pcmcia in this next snapshot.

I picked up the 0213 -current and tried to run it on my 560X laptop.
The pcmcia is not usable. The old one could be coerced to work if you
told it the port and irq's to use. The new one does not seem to handle
my 3c589c which worked before. It hangs when the ep1 is configured.
I'll debug more later. Also the pcmcia still has trouble allocating
space for the 3c562d -- so that card still does not work. When I had a
pcmcia ether and pcmcia com card. It allocated both to the same irq.
Also it gave both cards ports following its own idea of what ports it
should use. So com3 got some address >0x330 (not the typical com3
address). And when I told it to use 0x2a0 (with only the ethercard) it
still decided to use 0x330.

I suppose I may have botched the import/merge. I'll pick up -current
this weekend and try again.

PS
Does the new scheme fix the problem that when you ejected the cards and
reinserted it you got a new device.

PPS
Any idea why the ide system sees an wd1 on this machine?
