Subject: Notebook, what to look for?

I intend to buy a notebook and run netBSD on it. (desired config: P133,
32Mb ram 1.4-2MB HD, Modem, 10Mb UTP/BNC network card, CDrom drive)
I intend to consult the supported hardware list and insert a boot floppy
in the notebook to check if all devices are recognised.
Are there other things to look for and/or check before spending the
money?
