I have changed the initial PCI probe (mode detection, etc) to use
the BIOS. This is to avoid detecting the wrong configuration mode,
a problem that several people were seeing. The changes should also
make sure that systems with multiple PCI-host bridges should be
detected correctly.

get in touch with me, I'll send them to you (they are against
1.3).
