Dunno about this, but I was frustrated to find that the FreeBSD version of
Netscape 4.03beta8 (dunno why Netscape never released a 4.03 final version
of this, either) wouldn't run on my Pentium 133 box under 1.2.1 because the
NetBSD XFree86 3.3 libX11 makes some reference to a "_tolower_tab_" that isn't
in their libc.so.3.0 ... seems a bummer that I'd have to load a whole X11
library suite for FreeBSD into /emul/freebsd; libc, libg++, libstdc et al. I
understand, but ...
