Most noble one's mention of this led me to try including isa-based
pcic support in a BSD/OS kernel; now it finds my PCMCIA cards, but
doesn't configure them correctly.  One step closer...

Hmm.  Apparently, it only works when PNP is *on*.

Oh, well.  :)
