ccd(4) is a machine-independant virtual disk driver which provides
RAID level 0 functionality on any kind of disk devices block device
nodes are provided for.

The 3985 is a in-hardware RAID SCSI host adapter that provides a
superset of ccd(4)'s functionality itself but is not supported in
NetBSD.
