Subject: troubles with NetBSD

i seem to be having some small problems with NetBSD.

setup is:

NetBSD-1.2.1 (can't wait for -1.3)
486dx33
EISA bus
32M RAM
256K L2 cache
BusLogic BT742AH (EISA)
using the virtual console driver

if i telnet into my sparcstation-5 and try to run elm it complains that pc3
is not a known terminal type and dies. no big deal, so i set the termtype to
vt100 (should work with just about everything) and after using elm for awhile
it locks up the console on the NetBSD box. i can telnet in from the sparc and
try killing off proccesses, but i cannot ever reclaim control of my console
on the NetBSD box. when i kill the elm process on my sparc the console on
the NetBSD box shows Terminated and drops me back down to my prompt, but i
cannot use the console, it is still locked. so it appears to me that the
keyboard is what i getting locked up. (joy)

is this a known issue? is there something i might have missed here??

also, while i have your attention *grin* i get this message on my console
quite often

<date:time> rtfm /netbsd: arpresolve: can't allocate llinfo

what is this and how do i make it go away??

thanks for all the help. i will include my dmesg and kernel config info.

-brian
