I also have been using the ATAPI CDROM drivers for a while now and believe
that it would be embarassing to not have it (and pcmcia in 1.3).

(Note: though, I use the ATAPI driver on the second IDE channel and
leave the original on the first.  So if anyone is afraid of the
stability of the code an arrangement like this is possible.)
