I'd like to get mmap working on /dev/audio. On my (moderately) current
sources, I see some stubs for this in audio.c. Anyway, I'm not
particularly clueful about what this would entail, so I'm wondering if
anyone can give me a sense of the scope of the job and some idea for how
to get started. Would this just involve change to the device independent
audio stuff? Device drivers as well? VM subsystem?

Yes, this is so I can play Quake with sound.
