You don't need a DOS emulation you need a windows emulation. The best
(and only) free Window emulator is actually "Wine". I've read news
articles from people who got Winword 6 running under "Wine".

You can get Wine e.g. on "tsx-11.mit.edu" in "/ALPHA/Wine/development".
But as you can see it is still ALPHA so don't expect too much.
