Ah, well there ya go! :)

Hmmm.  I also just checked again, and Linux has it as ld.so.conf, not
rc.ld.so as I was originally (wishfully, perhaps) thinking.  I like
all the rc grot to start with ``rc.'' so that I can glob them all
together, but Oh Well - I'm not going to buck the trend and be the
odd-OS out here. :-)

Thanks!  Looks like I'll just adopt your changes (with appropriate
credit to both NetBSD and Linux, of course :).
