Help:
Has anymore been able to connect their i386 NetBSD boxes to their ISP
with a PPP modem connection, authenicated with PAP? I have a PPP
account with my ISP with a static IP number and I plan to use my NetBSD
box as a firewall/gateway to and from the Internet & TCP/IP lan that
uses non-routeable (192.168.x.x) IP numbers.
Anyways, if anyways has any experience setting up PPP with PAP to
their i386 NetBSD box, I would greatly appreciate getting copies of
the files in their "/etc/ppp/" directory.
Thanks in advance. Sincerely, Alicia.
PS. I do have the "+pap" & "user loginName" lines in my "/etc/ppp/options"
file, and the "loginName * passWord" line in my "/etc/ppp/pap-secrets"
file, but I still can't get it to validate after the modem connects.
