I couldn't get NetBSD installed on my 486 box with I/O-card with this chip
on it either because of some disk errors. I don't remember exactly what the
errors were and luckily I had another IDE controller card which worked
perfectly. I would like to know how to make it work since now I have no
serial/parallel ports on my 486. Oh, and the disk on the 486 is some old 240M
WD Caviar I think if it makes any difference.
