Does anyone know a reason why the boot code might not
live with a partition manager? (osbs)
Should I pick the "set active" part of OSBS?

  I get:

boot device: wd0
root on wd0a swap on wd0b
wd0: no disk label
no file system for wd0 (dev 0x0)
cannot mount root, error = 79

Yet, the boot blocks found the partition just fine:

type "?" or "help" for help.
> boot netbsd.simple
booting hd0a:netbsd.simple
847872+36864+580400+[56052+62396]=0x1829e4

I do have the partition id to a5 with pfdisk.
I only have the DOS partition there to hold misc setup programs.
