  Using a mostly -current tree (I have a snapshot from about two weeks
ago, with some pieces updated as needed), I get a lot of problems with
the wds* controller.
  I don't have one.

  Looking at the code, it seems that wds_find thinks that 1 is a
"failed" return, when in fact, I think it should be 0. I submitted a
PR for this, rather annoying problem: it slows things down a lot on
boot :-)
  (yeah, remove it from my kernel config)

  It probes as there:
