I agree.  The cards are deceptively simple, but they seem to just
work.  In my case, I have NEVER had a system failure due to the NCR
driver.  It might not always be the fastest (and that is debatable),
but it just works.  In my work, I much prefer "just works", rather
than a speed demon that gets 99% of it's instructions right :-).

It is understandable that there are sometimes compatibility problems.
Well, geesh, I've seen fundamental SCSI problems even with "supported"
OSes like WinNT.

Frankly, AFAIK, I haven't seen any systems compatible with every
SCSI device :-).
