Oh.  I thought the Matrox driver was newer and less mature.  I haven't
had any problems with my current Diamond card and XFree - not any that
I know of.  X has crashed a few times (maybe once a month), but that's
all.  Aren't the Matrox cards much more expensive than the 3400?
