With a January 1997 kernel, machdep.c 1.221

486-SP3G:	intermittantly fails to reboot (most "real" OSes do this)

P55-TP4XE:	never had a problem

With mid february 1997 kernel sources, with machdep.c 1.224

486-SP3G:	reboots ok (tried three times)

P55-TP4XE:	won't reboot at all

I'll update my sources completely and try again, but this is a
preliminary indicator... I think my P55-TP4XE might not have the
latest BIOS too...

Hardware:

486-SP3G:	ASUS 486-PCI-SP3G motherboard, i486dx4-100 CPU, 32MB RAM,
P55-TP4XE:	ASUS P55-TP4XE motherboard, P5-100 CPU, 64MB RAM
